Well after much time spending on PTO business, I am finally making time for crafting again. My son turns 6 in June and I really wanted to make my own birthday invites for him. I was searching for some time for a file for SCAL because I just don't have the time yet to sit down and create my own files. So after much searching, Lindsay from The Frugal Crafter's posted her free file for me to snag!!! This was perfect and now I am so happy that I have finally finished them!!!! I decided to make 20 invites for my son's class and a few extra for friends not in his class. I did not have the same stamp as Lindsay, but found these cute Toy Story Martian stickers that fit perfect inside the gear. As much as I love the screw brads on Lindsay's card, I just went with plain silver brads. To save time I used Gunmetal Stickles for the small gears rather than using eyelets. I do want to make sure that Lindsay knows how thankful I am for her sharing her file with me!!!! My son was so excited after I finished the first one that he ask if he could have one too. How cute. He is so in love with Toy Story right now.
Once again, Thank you so much Lindsay for your AWESOME file!!!!! I hope you like the way it turned out.
I really missed playing around with my cricut with my SCAL software!!!!!!
Thanks for stopping by.

Oh Jessica, that is sooooooooooo cute.I'm sure your son thinks tht Mommy is the best.
Your invite is so darn cute, Jess.
What a great start to a Toy Story party. This rocket ship would look
great on a dowel stuck into styro foam for a table decoration also. Really clever card.
