Such a delay.

Delay, Delay, Delay.... Boy. I miss crafting and making my cards. I have been so busy at school that I have no time to myself. So now I am finally working on my holiday cards. Having such crafting blocks is keeping me from getting the job done. I am searching for influence to get my creativity back.

So maybe in a day or two, I will be posting my projects. :)

Mojo 100 Day 7

The week of Mojo 100 from Mojo Monday is now complete. I made it everyday this week. How good is that for a challenge?? For me that is a big challenge. I am proud of myself and I love the sketches the Mojo Team put together. So much fun indeed. Well here is my last card. Today's sketch was submitted by Mary Fish. This was a lot of fun. Until Monday...Have a great Sunday.

And to wrap up my post with all cards I made this week.

Monochromatic Color Challenge & Guest Designer

So last week I goofed when I posted way to early for being the Guest Designer for my friend Cheri and their
team blog with other team designers at Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturdays. I created one card earlier last week for the challenge, but since I already posted it, I decided to create a new one and post another to add. Since I have been creating a new card each night, what was one more right??
Take a look at their
blog and see if you are up to their challenges?

You can also take a peak at Cheri's blog too.

Here is the card I created.

Mojo 100 Day 6

Wow.. I loved this sketch. I am a bit disappointed in the lighting of the picture, You can not tell the card is made from shimmer card stock and does not show at all.
I have been really excited every night waiting for the new sketch. I have really enjoyed them all. Thanks Mojo Design Team!!!!!

Mojo100 Day 3

So I am behind and tired. I am not too impressed with my card, but it was all the Mojo I had today. It is now midnight and I need to go to bed. I have challenged myself to complete a card each night so my goal for today is done. In the spirit of the Mojo Design team and their holiday cards, I created one myself. Okay until tomorrow. Night.

Monochromatic Card

I love browns and what goes best with browns than a beach theme. My family and I have also found a new hobby finding & collecting sea glass at our local beaches. Tons of fun. So what better way to accent my photo of my monochromatic beach card with brown sea glass.

I am honored and ashamed at the same time. I have my first blog award. I am speechless. My blog is so plain jane and not how I want it to look. I don't know how to do half the stuff on here. 40 Layouts Completed So Far this Summer.

Well since school has been out and PTO is on a break. I have found the time to start working on my books again. I have completed about 40 pages so far and finally finished my daughter's baby album. Amazing how fast they grow. Never realized how much Brianna and Jordan looked alike as babies. Most of the layouts I used my cricut and SCAL to create titles. It is awesome the things I can do with that machine. Here are 20 of the 40 that I completed in the slide show. Enjoy.

I have time now.

So even though I have not posted or uploaded any new projects I did find time to create a few things. Let's start with April, yes April. I had to do some swaps for a challenge and like the one I did for March Sketch Challenge Cards on Visual Designs by Chris's Forum... I made one that I did not swap out. This was the only one that I made like this. The other one I posted on April 5th.

Now on with May. These were a swap I did for Girl & Boy Cards. I have not took part in this many swaps in a while so I was pretty excited to get my swaps in return. These are the swaps that I completed.

Just a few more and I am going to sign off. I have to run around for some last minute things for my son's 5th B-day party on Saturday. This was some things I was able to create for Brianna's teacher. She is a scrapbooker too and I knew she would appreciate having some altered gifts. Well I hope she does. Here is a altered clipboard, a altered notebook, pencil holder along with some fancy pencils, binder clips and to finish it off a note pad holder with pen. I really enjoy making these and have so much fun to see what the finish product looks like.

I created this card doing a cut file challenge on Visual Designs By Chris (http://visualdesignsbychris.blogspot.com/) She is awesome. Also joined a swap and here is what I came up with. I am pretty happy with it. The picture is a bit graining and I am playing with the camera to figure out why. Sorry it has been a while since I have updated. Spring break is here and the sun is finally coming out.

Taking on a challenge.

So I decided to take on a challenge with Gina K at StampTV . I normally don't do these types of challenges with online sites and such, but this one was something I always wanted to learn. I purchased my prismacolor pencils about 2 years ago and really knew how to use them with my odorless mineral spirits. I did not know that you needed to have a good quality smooth cardstock. What a difference it does make. The last time I used my pencils I did not use smooth quality cardstock and notice that my paper would tear and ball up. Needless to say my cards were not the best, but thought it was because I did not know how to use my pencils. Now I have some top quality smooth cardstock, thanks to a dear friend at TheMonkeyHut. I have watched the video tutorial at StampTV and ready to create. I am defiantly intimidated to enter my card on the site, there are tons of extremely talented people that create such gorgeous cards. But here it goes.... I am ready. Here is what I came up with and yes... I noticed a BiG difference using quality cardstock. Thank you Gina K for teaching me how to use my pencils. Now they will not be collecting dust!
Thank you!!!!!

If you are interested in taking up this challenge, here is the link. StampTV
